Services

  • Energy Strategies – Assisting in identifying “goals” is critical to any energy strategy that seeks to ensures a resilient, reliable, economic and flexible energy systems that are innovative and diverse while advancing cleaner forms of energy, like renewables.  Identifying the objective of these goals is the touchstone in evaluating, establishing and executing an effective and economical energy strategy.
  • Energy System Integration – Provide guidance on how to integrate new energy systems with a client’s existing facility while addressing technical, economic, regulatory, and institutional barriers.  This also includes evaluating operational issues and various business models that incorporates these technologies into a client’s facilities capacity planning, energy use, operations, demand-side management, renewable energy, distributed generation, energy storage and demand response systems.
  • Owners Rep – Provide 3rd Party Independent Inspections Services and Consultative Energy Management Services to government, electric utility, corporate and commercial clients that seek excellence, experience and a high-level of attention to detail as they pursue and implement a redesigned or re-powered energy system.  We perform a detailed review of an existing energy system’s capability, reliability and performance to identify the considerations necessary to introduce a new energy strategy, like integrating renewable energy systems.   Our “Project and Construction Management Services” for these projects goes beyond scheduling and budgeting services.
  • Project and Construction Management – As a “Project and Construction Manager” we provide clients with seasoned leadership, indispensable knowledge, and valuable energy industry experience that affects every phase of an energy project.  We assist in initiating an energy project’s scope and facility integration plan that minimizes the impact on current operations while providing a road map to achieving goals surrounding reliable and secure energy operations, mandated energy performance targets, and return on investment by evaluating and deploying real-world solutions.  Our services include assisting our clients with the following:
    • developing an energy strategy
    • project plan that details vital documentation to track project requirements, functionalities, scheduling and budget.
    • contractor design, build and commissioning bidding
    • project permitting and energy incentives
    • evaluating existing or new energy system designs, including methods of interconnection
    • monitoring construction activities, ensuring schedule compliance and controlling costs
    • project commissioning and closeout
  • Energy Savings M&V – We assist our clients in understanding the baseline of their existing energy systems as it relates to current energy costs and how properly planned energy savings projects, that establish upfront how the energy savings will be measured and verified, can provide evidence of real and reliable energy savings.
  • Root Cause Analysis – Part of any “continuous improvement” program requires root cause analysis to be performed. There are many methodologies, approaches, and techniques for conducting root cause analysis like, Event and Causal Factor Analysis, Change Analysis, Barrier Analysis and Risk Tree Analysis.   Failures or near misses at a facility or during construction activities benefit from a root cause analysis with the objective of providing the best possible understanding of the causes of the failure and how to minimize or mitigate them.  We are trained and experienced in the ability to perform a root cause investigation, utilizing various analysis approaches and techniques that include clearly defining the problems, gathering evidence, classifying causes and identifying recommended corrective actions.
